Neighborhood Vibe

The Neighborhood

Located less than 20 miles east of Downtown Nashville in western Wilson County, Mt. Juliet sits between two national east-west routes, Interstate-40 and U.S. Route 70, better known as Lebanon Road. Known as an affordable, clean, and prosperous community, Mt. Juliet has grown tremendously in recent years, both in terms of the number residents and in business growth. It is speculated that the town's name, the only one like it in the United States, pays homage to a manor home of the same name in Kilkenny, Ireland.

The Market

Your dollar stretches more in Mt. Juliet than in many other Middle Tennessee communities, and an abundance of single family homes, many with large lots, is available. A few newer townhome communities have popped up as the area has grown, but thanks to the family-friendly lifestyle that Mt. Juliet affords, single-family homes dominate the market.

The Lifestyle

With easy access to both Percy Priest and Old Hickory Lakes, plus a multitude of parks and recreational facilities, shopping, and dining destinations, Mt. Juliet has nearly endless opportunities to stay active. Providence Marketplace is one of the largest retail locations between Nashville and Knoxville and provides a great place to do some shopping, grab some dinner, and catch a movie.
